Privacy notice

Last updated 14 October 2026.

This notice explains what STP LLC does with personal data in connection with this website. It is short because there is not much to describe, and it names every cookie and every company that sees your data.

Who we are

STP LLC, Komitas Avenue 59, Building 4, 5th floor, area 18, 0014 Yerevan, Armenia. For any question about this notice or about your data, contact website@stp.am or call+374 12 440000.

What we collect, and why

If you submit the enquiry form

We receive the name, organisation, email address, phone number, area of interest and message you choose to provide. We use it for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on that business conversation.

Enquiries are delivered to us by email. They are not stored in a database on this website. There is no database behind this site. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot. The check runs in your browser when the contact page loads, and Cloudflare processes technical signals for it, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, for that purpose only. Enquiries reach our mailbox through Amazon Simple Email Service in the EU (Ireland).

If you just read the site

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data: IP address, user agent, requested URL, as a necessary part of serving the page and protecting it from attack. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across sites.

We additionally use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages are read and how people arrive. Unlike the above, this does set cookies, and it sends your IP address, user agent and the pages you visit to Google, who process it on our behalf under their own terms and may store it outside Armenia, including in the United States. We see reports about groups of visitors, not named individuals.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, also loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use the pages. Clarity records how you move through a page: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and rebuilds from them a replay of the visit and heatmaps. The contact form is fully masked from Clarity, so what you type into it is not recorded. Clarity sends this, with your IP address and user agent, to Microsoft, who process it on our behalf under their own terms and may store it outside Armenia, including in the United States.

Cookies

Analytics and Clarity are the only things on this site that set cookies. These are the ones they set, and how long each lasts:

  • _ga — Google Analytics: tells one browser apart from another. 400 days.
  • _ga_YLBGV7SE7S — Google Analytics: holds the session state for this site's Analytics property. 400 days.
  • _clck — Microsoft Clarity: tells one browser apart from another. 365 days.
  • _clsk — Microsoft Clarity: joins the pages of one visit into a single recording. 1 day.

You can refuse them with your browser's tracking protection, by blocking third-party scripts, or with Google's own opt-out extension. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. We do not show a consent banner, so these are set when the page loads.

What we do not do

  • No advertising or marketing cookies
  • No selling, renting or sharing of your data with third parties
  • No adding you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry

The site is served with a content security policy that permits scripts only from this domain, Cloudflare, Google and Microsoft Clarity. That list is enforced by your browser rather than by our good intentions, so anything else, an advertising pixel or a social network tracker, is refused before it can run or set a cookie.

Local storage

If you use the light/dark theme switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key stp-theme. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clear your browser data and it is gone.

How long we keep things

Enquiry correspondence is retained while there is a live business conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we have no legal obligation to retain it, we will.

Analytics cookies expire on their own, on the schedule listed above. The visit data behind them is held by Google under the retention setting on our Analytics property, and Clarity recordings are held by Microsoft for Clarity's retention period. Clearing your cookies does not reach either. Ask us and we will tell you the current settings, or have the data for your visits deleted.

Who else processes data

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, security, the contact form's bot check and privacy-preserving analytics
  • Amazon Web Services: Amazon SES (Ireland, EU), which relays contact-form enquiries to our mailbox
  • Google: Analytics and Tag Manager, which process visit data outside Armenia
  • Microsoft: Clarity, which processes visit recordings outside Armenia
  • Microsoft 365: our business email, which is where enquiries arrive

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing it. Write towebsite@stp.am and we will respond. We will not make you jump through hoops.
